  The digital photographic revolution has freed us from the constraints of the darkroom.
 
Purists may sneer but the nature of photography has changed forever. For the enthusiast, no more smelly chemicals, for us 'happy snappers', goodby development by post or the chemist.
Many people rarely bother to print their photos these days, even though they have excellent, easy to use photoprinting facilities. Like me, we just stick them on the HD and get a much better show onscreen.
Sends us your pics of local places of interest, events etc., but remember! the editor's decision is final as to which are shown.
After decades of producing the best 'instant photo' solution Polaroid are to stop producing their instant film. very good it was too. Fast and reliable, capable of producing a result under the worst of conditions - weddings, student parties, family Xmas's etc. Camera production stopped a year ago but there hints of their trying to find a way for someone to produce the film elsewhere.
